Anchor collaborates with public, non-profit, foundation, and for-profit organizations and agencies to move issues forward using equitable and inclusive strategies and practices, including but not limited to:

Public policy and budget advocacy support:

• Public policy advocacy planning with a racial equity focus.

• Trainings and tools relating to government processes, including bill and budget tracking (local, state, federal) and policy implementation.

• Policy-related issue research, asset mapping, and message development.

Coalition building and group facilitation:

• Staffing support to coalitions and other collaborative efforts.

• Facilitating groups for short-term or long-term initiatives.

• Creating written materials and other work products related to coalition and work team/workgroup efforts.

Implementation of public policies and budget provisos:

• Planning and preparation for newly passed legislation and budget provisos.

• Conducting research from other localities, states, and countries as well as directly hearing and learning from impacted communities.

• Co-creating work teams/workgroups of internal staff and/or external partners related to policy implementation.

• Co-designing of output tracking and measures of success.

• Report writing and content development.
